Shop It NowThe Fashion Week Lipstick You Need (And Can Actually Buy!) This Spring
The beauty industry is notoriously a tease when it comes to products used during Fashion Week — we lust after the makeup looks, only to discover they are custom blends that won't be going into production. Not so at Karen Walker's spring '12 show: Clinique and Global Colour Artist Jenna Menard created a coral lip hue for the show, but unlike other custom cosmetics backstage, this one will be available for purchase."I chose bright coral because it's less expected than red," explained Menard. Having seen this color up close, we can attest that it's just as stunning in person as it was on the runway. It's pigment rich and quite vivid — not at all what you are used to seeing from the brand and their usual barely-there lipsticks. While Clinique is being awesome and sharing this gem with the public, it's not a permanent shade: Runway Coral will be available for a limited time as an online exclusive starting this May. Looks like it's time to start hoarding.

Must Watch: A Seamless Backstage Ballet At Tess Giberson's NYFW Show
We picture the backstage of NYFW to resemble a three-ring circus. Actually, we've been there before, and there are definitely a few ringleaders who know how to keep things smooth despite the makeup/hair/wardrobe madness. However, much to our (pleasant) surprise, this backstage view of the Sara Costello-directed Tess Giberson's fall '12 presentation is quite...lovely!
Before the ethereal-yet-edgy collection's runway debut, Tess' team seamlessly flowed though metallic-eyeshadow applications and harness fittings as if performing a perfectly choreographed dance. We love the circus and all, but right now, we're pretty content to enjoy a backstage routine that can hold a candle to the gracefulness of any Lincoln Center ballet.
Win It: Gretchen Jones' NYFW '12 Tips And Toes Combo
We're super jealous, you guys. Several weeks ago, when we were coveting the hell out of the nail look at Gretchen Jones' fall '12 presentation, we didn't have the vaguest inkling that we would get the chance to do a giveaway! R29 staffers are freaking out wishing they could enter this contest, and with good reason — this ish is bananas. Three lucky readers will win a set of those kick-ass cowgirl turquoise nail wraps, which were designed by NAIL ROCK exclusively for the show (these are the last three pairs in existence!), in addition to a pair of custom short cut Durango boots in a size 8, also from the show. Uh, what?! Too awesome.
Tell us what your custom nail wrap creation would be in the comments for your chance to win. Contest ends March 21, 2012. United States fans only, please.

Can Olivia Palermo Make Floral And Leopard Happen?

We expect nothing less than amazing from one of New York's finest dressers, Olivia Palermo, and that's just what she gave us Monday, rocking a black Emporio Armani jacket trimmed with Mongolian lamb's wool trim. Never overdressed (even for London Fashion Week where anything goes right?), we think this actress/model/blogger/fashion phenom is bound to make neon, floral pants and leopard pumps a new classic in print-mixing. We'll repeat, floral. And leopard. And neon.
Tell us what you think in the comments below! Does this unconventional mashup of LOUD only work for Ms. Palermo or will you be rocking the same look by springtime? We kind of already know the answer...

Lincoln Center Time Lapse Video — Watch NYFW Fly By
With the party moving over to the other side of the pond, last week's hottest spot for New York Fashion Week have probably lost a bit of their sizzle. But we can't let the thrill of NYFW just fade into oblivion.
To properly say goodbye to the Lincoln Center madness, we decided to stop and smell the roses speed right through the action at the NYC landmark from early morning anticipation through to the end of the show-goer catwalk of editors/buyers/bloggers. Revisit some of the excitement and, like us, test how quickly you can style stalk.
The Wildest (But Still Cool!) Looks From NYFW
NYFW gives everyone an excuse for dressing to the nines. For us, that means sticking on heels that are higher than we'd normally wear on the subway, and lipstick that is brighter than we'd usually wear to the office. For others, it means going all out in outfits that were so, well, out there, it made us do a double take (even outside the tents). From bright color-blocking to wild hair accessories, these ensembles held their own in front of street style photogs and fashion mavens, though maybe not normal pedestrians. Go ahead, get a bit wild–click through 'cuz we're bringing you the most eye-catching looks of New York Fashion Week. While we may not rock each and every one ourselves, they sure were unmissable.
The 34 Best Party Pics Of Fashion Week. Tired Yet?
You've got some vodka chilling in the freezer right? A bottle of nice, earthy Pinot? Hell, even a shot of Patron. We're not trying to liquor you up (promise), but unless you don't touch the strong stuff, we're laying down our dollar bills that you'll want a sip after you click through. It's a national holiday, after all. While Fashion Week left us, well, fashion weak, we've rested up this weekend (we may or may not have spent a fair chunk of yesterday watching Sh*t Fashion Girls Say, part 3), and finally feel strong enough to relive the crazy 10 days we spent hitting the NYFW party circuit. To help you get in on the late-night action, we've rounded up the most memorable snaps that will make you feel like you were breaking in Le Baron's dance floor, too. Is that Brad looking pretty in pink? Oh yeah. Lindsey Wixson being shady? Uh-huh. Oh, and yes, that is a giant tuba. Turn up "Satellite" by The Kills, slip on some leather skinnies, and reach for that glass. Tonight, we rage…again.
Up Close & Personal: The Coolest Accessories From NYFW
How many times have you heard the phrase, "it's the little things?" Well, we don't mean to be a broken sound-cloud here, but it's never been truer than during New York Fashion Week, when street style is just as important as the duds on the runway. And what really puts a look over the edge is attention to detail: Shiny grommets, hard-core studs, gold-gold-gold, and, of course, nails to match. We zoomed in on 28 gals and guys whose style game was amazing from H to T and everything in between. And with claws, rams, turtles, and leopard spots accenting these epic ensembles, we can honestly say it was a fashion zoo. Petting encouraged.

The Guy Behind Those Insane Lady Gaga Shoes Came To NYFW
Fans of the Gaga-sized, heel-less, and hoof-like clompers, take note: It seems like buzzy shoe designer Noritaka Tatehana has gotten some love this Fashion Week. Not only has the Lady Gaga-approved designer getting attention at the tents (after international attention when Gaga-loo chucked her shoes on national television), but he was featured alongside other Japanese notables at Leather Japan, a presentation at Lincoln Center that highlighted the masters of leather who are killing it in the trend-setting nation like Tokyo dressmaker Motonari Ono and obsession-worthy bag makers Genten. Though the high-sheen leather, in cut-out forms and on Blade Runner-like mannequins, were worth a look, it's Tatehana's weird, fantastic shoes that really took the show to (pun alert!) new heights.
So obviously Lady Gaga wears your shoes. How does she manage to walk in them?
"I haven't received any comments about how it feels. But I'm very glad that she's now the icon of the shoe collection, it is the signature of Lady Gaga."
If you were a girl, would you wear them?
"Yeah of course. I would try one by another designer because I'd love to discover other designers."
Have you ever tried that pair on? How was it?
"(Laughs) Obviously I'm not used to heels."
Are you planning on making anything higher in the future?
"Yes definitely."

Hot Off The Runway: Designer Polishes (Wang, Oscar, Betsey, Oh My!)
Coming soon to a store near you are nail polishes custom-designed by your favorite fashion labels. Backstage at Fashion Week this season, a bevy of brands announced forthcoming partnerships with well-known designers to create and sell their own nail polishes.
At Oscar de la Renta, the long-rumored makeup collection from the legendary designer got an unofficial confirmation when models were seen wearing three shades of nail polish — red, robin's egg blue, and aubergine — that were said to be from Oscar's upcoming makeup line, launching this fall. Meanwhile, Sally Hansen continues their relationships with Tracy Reese and Alexander Wang, debuting new fall colors for each at their respective shows. At Peter Som, Zoya debuted a collection of three polishes that went on a sale for a hot second on the Zoya website right after the show. We can only hope they put them back into production because we need the sheer eggplant Katharine shade in our lives.
Hands down, the most fun collaboration we saw all week had to be the one between Betsey Johnson and Sephora. Everyone's favorite runway gymnast is launching an extensive collection of polishes that will be available in March at Sephora. There will be seven full-sized shades, a six-piece mini polish set, three patterns of stick-on polish strips, and three nail design sets. Click through the slideshow to get a sneak peek of the polishes.

Double Take: Is Jeremy Scott's New Collection A Rip-Off?
For his fall '12 presentation, Jeremy Scott referenced every '90s kid obsession from bad Bart Simpson to Lisa Frank, with insanely awesome results. But was the channeling all his idea? While we're not pointing fingers (yet), there is a line between being inspired and straight-up copycatting, and several critics are saying that Mr. Scott's rainbow-bright styling was more than reminiscent of trend-setting artist and designer Ms. Fitz's iconic, wild face-bling. And, it's hard to ignore that her spring '11 collection featured kooky creative direction by way of dangling nose rings, cotton candy coifs, and tribal-inspired eye markings....everything we say a season later at Scott's show.
We're going to give Scott the benefit of the doubt here, but side-by-side images of his sherbert-headed, nose-chained models and an image of Ms. Fitz herself (at the JS afterparty last September, no less) look way too identical to be coincidental. Maybe Scott's just referencing another beloved pastime of the '90s kid? Twinsies! (Color And Chaos)

Street Style Of The Day: Bring On The Wide Brims

We've got a thing for statement hats — but less Princess Beatrice, and more what we're seeing here. It's the proverbial cherry on top of the sundae that pulls together student Jasmine's hint-of-leopard, gray-day ensemble. With an extra-wide brim to bring a bit of drama, this look was so nice we had to snap it twice.
