The Luxe Bags You’ve Never Seen Before — But Will Want Immediately

We like to think we can get whatever we want — whenever we want. (That’s why we have the Internet, right?) But, even in the digital age, there are a few special collections that require going to an actual store to obtain — or admire. Case in point: French leather goods and luggage brand Moynat. Founded in 1849 by history's only female trunk-maker, the luxe label launched with custom-designed trunks (similar to Louis Vuitton and Goyard). And, it just landed in the U.S. for the very first time with a temporary, pop-up location in New York City’s Dover Street Market.
Inside Comme des Garçons's Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe's seven-story retail mecca, you'll spot the traditional heritage line front and center amid the eclectic offering of current labels like Sacai and Supreme. While the selection of structured satchels, clutches, and exclusive, hand-painted totes may not necessarily fit within your budget, the never-before-seen factor totally warrants a visit. Click ahead to view our favorite styles you can shop at the store — including a custom-made macaroon carrier (yes, that's a thing). Carry on!
