Thankfully, no matter what your level of mixology skill, the slightly sweet Bourbon drink is kind of a no-brainer. Therefore we joined Shannon Altner at Dos Caminos as she taught us how to quickly whip up a delicious Mint Julep for ourselves and all of our pals who didn't make it to the Derby either. Cheers!
4 to 5 mint leaves
1 tsp. sugar
2 oz. bourbon
1 oz. water
Muddle ingredients and stir with ice
Serve over ice in a low-ball glass
Garnish with mint leaves
