There's a reason that Dorothy was originally wearing a pair of silver shoes, and it isn't because of the turn-of-the-century Populist political stance on the gold standard (nerd alert)....

Just look at them! Though there are certain dangers to wearing super-shiny, mirrored shoes (upskirt-ists, look away!), we can't help but want to wear them with pretty much all of our day-to-day outfits for a flash of futuristic glam. Whether that flash comes in original-Dorothy silver, MGM-Dorothy red, or any color in between, we're pretty jazzed about it.

Oh, and the best part? When you're smiling down at your shiny new friends, you'll see a face smiling back at you. What more could you possibly ask for?
