The Tip: Mess up a classic ballerina bun to create a hip new ‘do. Wrap small sections of hair around a small-barrel curling iron, then spray with hairspray to hold. Part hair on the side and tie it back into a ponytail just above the nape of the neck. Wrap the ponytail around into itself to create a bun, pinning hair in place with bobby pins, as you twist.
The Tools: Curling iron, hair elastic, hairspray, bobby pins, shine spray
The Trick: To soften up the bun, loosen the hair around with your fingers so it looks natural. If any large pieces fall out you can just pin them back into the bun.
