You thought the hats at the Kentucky Derby were out there. Meet Maiko Takeda, the Tokyo-born, London-based milliner who has crafted a collection of prickly, glow-in-the-dark headdresses. The high-concept line, Atmospheric Reentry, is exactly what we'd wear if we wanted to resemble a fluorescent jellyfish — a very fashion-forward jellyfish, that is.
Takeda's eye-candy creations are fashion as art in the truest sense. Even Björk is a champion of the designer — she performed in one of the headpieces after seeing them online.
