New MIA Collective Means We Have No More Excuses Not To Ride A Bike

magiccity_bikes
Time to pump up those tires and peddle on over to Downtown MIA for the launch of the Magic City Bicycle Collective (MCBC), a group of bike enthusiasts who are aiming to build a sustainable workshop to demystify the perils of cycling (a.k.a. things like how to change that flat) with the proper tools and training  — so that Miami can be well on its way to being a bike-friendly city. What better way to celebrate community thoughtfulness than with a block party-like celebration? There will be free beer, music, movies, and a freestyle bike demo. So, in case you didn’t know how to refill those tires (we saw you struggling with that air pump at the last Critical Mass), it’s time to gain some independence and really own the Miami streets. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 2 to 6 p.m., 1100 North Miami Avenue; No number.
