This Lyft Driver’s Heartwarming Project Will Inspire You

Need another reason to love Lyft? Hoping to encourage passengers to unplug for a few moments during their ride, a local San Francisco driver began asking his riders to jot down a message on paper for the next customer. As expected, the notes run the gamut from thoughtful and pensive to drunken scribbles about dogs (which we don’t mind, to be honest).
"I have this gorgeous, physical diary I actually hand people,” Zia Ahmed explained to ABC News. “People get so excited. They take it really, really seriously...I’ve had people in my car weeping and bawling from a breakup or something, but then I drop the book on them and they’re super happy — just ecstatic.”
While the Lyft Me Up project has collected over 2,000 handwritten messages so far, Ahmed posts his very favorite missives on his Facebook page and is hoping to turn them into a real book one day. Ahead, we’ve rounded up 10 must-read notes that are guaranteed to brighten your day. Whether you’re looking for life advice or just want to see a cute sketch, click ahead!
