Too Crazy For Its Own Good? LOVE Does Insane Asylum Chic

Fashion has always been a little crazy, and LOVE magazine certainly has had their bouts of insanity. But this month, Katie Grand's mag has gone completely off its rocker. In it, "Bedlam," a huge editorial by Daniel Jackson, finds fashion inside the walls of the sanitarium as a murder's row of top models – from Dree Hemingway all the way to Lindsey Wixon – make like inmates and nurses, going completely mad in fine, white couture.
And, as you rifle through these stark images, you may indeed ask yourself, "Isn't this insulting and insensitive to the millions of people all over the world who suffer from debilitating mental illnesses?" Well, yes. It is. But does its haunting loveliness (not to mention cheekiness) outweigh the lack of political correctness, or is this another case of fashion taking things a bit too far?
