We Spy: The Most Bangin' Accessories Around Town!

Like Bonnie and Clyde, when you're dressing to kill, you need the perfect partner in crime — and by that we mean the right accessory (or three), obviously. All those little trimmings are the cool accomplices that aid and abet your ensemble, taking the whole look from blah to ah ha, et voilà! And because we're always curious to see what fashionable frills have recently hit the L.A. scene, our street-style team hit the pavement to snap the best bells and whistles on the block. From rare vintage baubles to super-cute (and sky-high) heels, these chicks took a rockin' road-less-traveled approach to their extras. Click through to see our haute and happy trails!

Street Style: Rock A Crazy-Cool Print Without Looking Crazy

maggie-mollycranna

Who she is: Maggie
Where we spotted her: Melrose Avenue
Why we love her: You can tell just by looking at this fair lady that she's comfortable in her own skin, and has her style-sense down pat. It's not every day that you see someone rock ikat pants, and even more rare to actually see someone make it work! The sweet lil' vintage sweater and beaten-up boots seal the deal on this classic Cali beauty's stamp of approval.

Our Official Trend Of The Sundance Film Festival: Sorel Boots

As total embarrassing newbie novices, we learned a very important lesson the first night of the Sundance Film Festival: It's not possible to rock platforms in the kind of snow that dumps on Park City, Utah. In fact, your regular old flats or boots won't even cut it in this kind of mud and slush! As the snow pelted our faces and feet, thankfully, Sorel came in clutch for pretty much every fashionable girl on Main Street. Seriously, anyone hot and rocking a rad wintry look was donning a pair of these bad boys! The perfect blend of fashion meets function, even the most stylish film-going celebs like Liv Tyler, Isla Fisher, Kristen Bell, Zoe Saldana, and Christina Hendricks were stomping around in these sole-savers. Even though everyone —us included—had to bundle up (and oust their stilettos), their feet still looked uber-comfy chic. Click through to see what we mean!

6 L.A. Creatives Show Off Their Dope Desks

To the Angeleno-aesthete set, a desk isn't just any old furnishing for storing files and personal effects, to get, like, work done. It serves as the hub for brainstorming cutting-edge ideas and hosting major meet-and-greets. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, the workstation is the visual door to labor's imagination—it's where all the magic happens! We made deskside appointments with some of L.A.'s most creative, and, you can tell by their unique displays that these artistic ladies aren't your average 9 to 5-ers. So, click through for some administrative inspiration, or maybe even just some motivation to clear out that clutter for a neater nerve center!

Street Style: Visual Treats From Sunday's Rose Bowl Fashion Fest!

When it comes to street style in the City of Angels, nothing beats the sartorial stalking at the best flea market in the whole, entire world, the Rose Bowl. The sunny weather last weekend prompted the finest of the SoCal style set to hit the pavement in their Sunday best. With 360 degree views of vintage treasures (wares and women), retro glamour was everywhere we turned. From Missoni-esque bells to plenty of polka dots, we bet that a lot of these looks were found at flea markets of yore. Hopefully, this'll provide a dose of inspiration for the next time you visit us at the fashion fair next month (umm have you packed for Coachella yet?)!

Musical Muse: Karmin's Key To The Retro-Babe Look

Never judge a book by its…voice? If you've only heard Karmin's cover of Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now," you wouldn't believe the fast-talking cutie/ singer-rapper Amy Heidemann (her fiance, Nick Noonan, makes up the band's other half) rocked a vintage vibe. But chances are you've seen the duo's YouTube video (it has over 150 million views, after all) and are as impressed as we are by Heidemann's rapping prowess and strikingly nostalgic style. Holy contrast, huh? We sat down with this Musical Muse at Speakeasy Sound in Burbank to hear her thoughts on everything from working side-by-side with her man (gutsy!) to suicide rolls, and encounters with Busta Rhymes. Of course, we also snapped the skilled songstress showing off her distinctive, modern-day Bettie Page pin-up style to give you some fresh inspiration for your inner-retro rocker. Look at her now.

1 Girl, 4 Looks: Britt Bardo’s Stylist-Approved Holiday Cheer

With clients like Kate Hudson, Christina Ricci, Cameron Diaz, and Dita Von Teese on her roster, Britt Bardo has emerged as a fashion force to be reckoned with. There’s no doubt her styling chops have influenced celebrities, musicians, and editorials, but her personal style has that effortless East-meets-West Coast wow factor that had us eager to find out what makes her tick. Inviting us into her Los Feliz abode, Britt shows off her knack for subtle silhouettes toughened up with killer jewelry and take-no-prisoners heels. And lucky for us, she imparted her inspirations (Helmut Newton and L.A.-based artist Audrey Kawasaki) and some always-needed holiday dressing know-how to amp up our festive attire. So, whether you're headed to a cozy, mulled-cider type gathering of friends or a glamorous formal party that calls for the big guns, we think she'll inspire you to think outside the gift-wrapped box.

1 Girl, 4 Looks: Nasty Gal's Courtney Lowe Models Her Winter Uniforms

Courtney Lowe is a true SoCal style star. The flaxen-haired beauty, who runs her own by-appointment vintage emporium, L.A. Vintage Exchange, is also a full-time Nasty Gal, as site merchandiser she helps shoppers everywhere score the best contemporary and vintage threads on the internet. But, just because her day job's ridiculously hard, it doesn’t mean that her style isn’t 100% effortless—and surprisingly easy to copy. From hosting dinner parties at her Echo Park home wearing treasured YSL or heading to her downtown L.A. offices pairing Sam Edelman and vintage Ralph Lauren, Courtney proves that it’s all about the mix when it comes to a wonderful winter wardrobe. And, you know we've got the shots (and her tips) to prove it. No nastiness in sight.

Even if fresh faces are your sweet spot, we guarantee our slideshow will have you willing to get some 'stache rash — the red will fade, promise.
