Once this winter weather stops stifling our need for speed, Public Bikes has the perfect pick me up for the warm months that are just around the corner (we’re already counting the days). The cult-followed shop, which specializes in all things lovely, has been a huge staple in the Bay Are bike scene and now they are solidifying their position of glory with a new set of vibrant colors that are, well, “lickable.”

Sweet Blueberry, tangy Grapefruit pink, luscious Salted Caramel, bright Lemon Drop, and refreshing Pistachio are the new "flavors" these bikes are now available in, but, er, remember not to actually take a bite out of them (as tempting as the thought may be). We’re already itching to take one these out for a test ride to whisk away our winter blues, and luckily, to celebrate the holidays and the newest colored frames, Public Bikes is having a festive party and an unbelievable sale this week. On Saturday, December 17, you and fellow bikers can grab some sweet cycle gear and even a new set of wheels for up to 50% off. And, to make sure you're prepared for such an epic deal, click through the slideshow to find your favorite "flavor." We're thinking it's going to be hard to pick just one....

    When: Saturday, December 17 from 11 a.m to 6 p.m.
Where: Public Bikes, 123 South Park (between 1st and 2nd streets), SoMA; 1-888-450-0123.
