We know we're not the only ones who get that unshakable urge to, um, shake, jump, and sing (fine, okay, screech might be the more appropriate word) when we hear a bit of Katy Perry in our earbuds. After all, it's hard not to be a fan of someone who can turn honest lyrics into a dance-floor anthem, has a hair-color spectrum that outshines a rainbow, and, to top it off, brings her granny along for strolls on the red carpet.

Now, with the premiere of Perry's movie Part Of Me, only a few days away (next Friday, July 6), we'll admit we're pretty excited. Sure, we're not talking festival-circuit fodder here, but when you toss crazy costumes, catchy songs, and an exciting, inspring I-did-it-my-way story of personal evolution together, we get on board. Plus, we have the chance to hook up some fans, make that super fans, and help you be the first to see the movie.

We got our hands on two tickets to the sneak peek of Part Of Me, debuting in 100 theaters across the U.S. this coming Monday, July 2. Simply enter below for your chance to win a pair of tickets to the screening at the location closest to your hometown. We'll select a winner this Sunday, July 1 at 6 p.m. and make the announcement in the comments!

No matter what, there are some people who are just hard to shop for — your astoundingly chic friend whose style you can only hope to emulate, your boss who seems to have everything, your anything-goes-but-not-really dad. And, the worst offenders might be creative folks, whose aesthetic can be tough to read

The Best Of New York Nail Salons

We don’t mean to brag, but New York City is the birthplace of a very important place: the nail salon. Back in 1878, an entrepreneurial woman opened Mrs. Pray's Manicure, the country’s first parlor for the treatment, filing, and buffing of nails. (Actual lacquer, as we know it, wasn’t invented for a few more decades.) read
