Romance With a Hint of Drama
Perry's angelic frock and Art Deco earrings were beautifully balanced by the soft, glowing makeup and Renaissance-style 'do. Step 1: Smooth It Out
For maximum glow, Bailey mixed equal parts BB cream and liquid foundation onto the back of his hand, and then buffed the skin-perfecting concoction onto Katy's face and neck with a soft brush.

Step 2: Stay In Line
For a subtle, precise cat-eye, Katy's lashes were painted with a thin line, delicately winging out at the corners. (Liquid liner allows for greater precision.)

Step 3: Pump It Up
For serious definition, Jake used two coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. CG's Bombshell Volume mascara has an extreme volume basecoat and an intensifying top coat, so you can doubly amplify lashes without the threat of clumps or spider eyes.

Step 4: Shine On
Though multiple Grammy noms certainly had their effect, Katy's eyes got even more sparkle from metallic shadows, a creamy gold on her lids, and in the creases and a highlighter for the brow bone.

Step 5: Lighten Up
To highlight the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes, Bailey used a shimmery powder in pure white.

Step 6: Show Some Depth
After giving the foundation time to set, Bailey contoured Katy's face using bronzer at the hairline, temples, and below the cheekbones. Then, he added even more glow by using a luminizer just above the cheekbones, on the bridge of the nose, and at the cupid's bow.

Step 7: Make It Stick
Any time your makeup is going to be up against the elements (when it comes to makeup, these include long hours, sweat, and the actual, natural elements), setting it is crucial. A pressed powder swept across your face does the trick every time.
