If there is one instance that encapsulates what's wrong and facepalm-y about the world today, it's this story: Michael Nuanes, a 37-year-old man from Denver was arrested in January after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend who, according to him, had started beating him with a Justin Bieber doll during an argument.
According to the girlfriend, it all began when Nuanes became angry that his girlfriend's Facebook page hadn't been updated with their relationship status. In response, the girlfriend threw a Barbie doll and a Justin Bieber doll at him, bruising his foot. Nuanes was released from jail on a $1,500 bond, and no charges were ever filed against his girlfriend. (Huffington Post)
