Australian accessories designer Elke Kramer takes us on a journey through the Far East for spring 2011 in a jewelry collection entitled "The Shake of Ophelia." Collaborating with photographer Chris Morris, the lookbook depicts a 19th century English rose who escapes from the lap of luxury to accompany a traveling spice merchant on an adventure across Africa. With a magical mix of bony, jasper, deep beetroot, bloodstone, and ash in layered, twisted and knotted patterns, Elke'a tasseled earrings and bangles with oversized stones are complimented by Morris' beautifully textured images. Elke's jewelry is available online and in select boutiques like Opening Ceremony, Urban Outfitters, and Collette starting in September 2010.
