Ask anyone in the fashion world about jeggings, and you’ll undoubtedly be met with a scoff. The comfy basic (yep, we’re going there!) caught a bum rap for trying to hybridize what is essentially a pair of sweatpants with your trusty blue jean — and, while some iterations failed miserably, we keep finding respectable (not to mention, weekend morning-ready) options hiding right in plain sight.
But, if you’re still not sure how to wear a pair of jeggings, follow our golden rule: If they’re just a pair of leggings with a denim-look print (non-functioning pockets are a dead giveaway), treat them as such and be sure to pair them with a tunic or a hip-length blazer. But, if you find a pair on the other side of the spectrum, feel free to wear them as you would any other pair of classic jeans.
