Using MEMS technology (micro-electro-mechanical systems), the skin is assessed both before and after the treatment to determine whcih line is best for you and then, how effective it was. The machine measures everything from sun damage and fine lines to oil production and dryness. Seeing the biometric readout on your face is equal parts scary and fascinating; it helps put the damage into perspective, plus, you can see any problems that aren't visible (yet).
The seven-line collection includes products that run the full gamut of skin care concerns: preventing dry skin and UV damage, fighting fine lines, reducing wrinkles and increasing firmness, minimizing redness, eliminating bacterial activity, controlling shine, and preventing and reducing dark spots. There really is something here for everyone. You can buy Ioma products at Saks Fifth Avenue stores, but currently can only have your biometric skin analysis done at Saks counters in NYC and Beverly Hills.
So, what's the verdict? Are you game for this techy skin care line or are you sticking to what you know?
