What are your New Year's resolutions, and why?
"Stop biting my nails (again), because pretty nail polish is just one more place to add a pop of color or sparkle. I also have resolved to be more thoughtful in drinking good wine, and remembering which kinds I like."

Have you managed to keep them so far?
"Although it's been difficult, my nails are growing out nicely. It's not too hard to drink wine, thank goodness!"

Has anything helped you stick with it?
"I apply this Sally Hansen strengthener a few times a day. Soon enough, I'll start getting gel manicures, which are so great because there's no way I can pick the polish off. As for the wine, having good friends who know about wine and want to share a few bottles with you always helps. And go see Justin at Cashion's Eat Place — he knows his stuff! I've been taking photos of the labels of the wine I like so I can reference it later on."

What's the biggest obstacle to keeping your resolution?
"Hoping that nothing too stressful comes my way so I don't bite my nails all off again! And if it does — well, at least I have wine."
