Our favorite new makeup look for summer? Brightly colored, matte lips. It might sound simple, but pulling this one off requires a certain amount of visual balance in order to not look one-dimensional. Sure, it's our instinct to have our skin be as shine-free as possible, but a matte lip on matte skin would take it overboard, not to mention be impractical in summer's sweltering temps.
