H&M's Fall 2011 Lookbook Features Leather, Lace, And Lots Of Luxe Looks
By Becky Bratu
Flipping through lookbooks with the knowledge that you can reasonably pick up anything that catches your eye is always a fun activity for us—and that's one of the reasons we love perusing the H&M lookbook each season. And our other morsel of logic on H&M? How expensive their wares appear. Sporting pin-straight violet locks and dark cherry lips, Karlie Kloss looks grown-up and elegant in loose and lean classics, such as a beautiful camel coat and a long, silky, rust-colored dress that look like they'd cost far more than they do. "Most pieces are fashion classics updated with a new silhouette, shape, or simply new styling," H&M Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson said. The fabrics are a mix of weather-appropriate threads such as tweed, flannel, corduroy, and cool girl basics such as leather, suede, and lace. And, in true H&M style, the priciest item in the lookbook will retail for $199.
