We typically expect beautiful things from a Rodarte show. And this time around, we got a stunning going-out look, thanks to makeup artist James Kaliardos for NARS. Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy wanted Vincent van Gogh-inspired makeup for their spring '12 show, and Kaliardos rose to the occasion, creating deep indigo, smoky eyes flecked with metallic touches and a soft, sheer lavender lip. The midnight-blue eye gives a major dose of glamour, while the lip—a mix of Penny Lane cream blush, Pearl Beach cream eyeshadow, and Nana lipgloss—helps keep the look cool and sophisticated with just a hint of color.
