With so much retro on the runway, it's refreshing to take a trip to the other side of the event horizon. Our favorite designer down under, Karen Walker, delivers with an ultra-futuristic collection of sunnies that's got us stomping on the cat eyes and aviators of seasons past. The color-blocked plastic frames are worthy of David Bowie in The Man Who Fell To Earth (not the first time Ziggy Stardust has proven to be way ahead of his time), and the lucite pairs are so bright you'll need an extra pair of shades just to look at them. While they look great on the white-haired, crisp-collared near-extraterrestrials in the lookbook, there's no doubt these far-flung spectacles will be a close encounter with the awesome kind, now and in decades to come.
