    Every once in awhile, a new little gem pops into our fashion lexicon. Today, it’s the word "flomo" — a portmanteau of floral and camo.

    Let’s break this down for you: Flomo patterns are tight, tiny floral prints layered over a blurred-camouflage look (basically, what you'd wear if you were trying to blend into a field of wildflowers). Spotted at rag & bone, Erdem, and Yigal Azrouël, floral camouflage is the modern twist to traditional fall prints.

    To achieve full flomo, forget the soft-’n’-sweet, ethereal florals of summer, and instead, capture the rich, dark brooding tones of autumn accented by a bold, vibrant pop of color.
