First Look! Timo Neckwear Branches Out Into A Full Men’s Line For Fall

timo-menswear-1
Our good friend Timo Weiland, who makes quirky-cool neckwear that boys and girls alike can wear, is expanding into ready-to-wear this fall with partner Alan Eckstein. Yesterday, we had the privilege of viewing his complete menswear line for fall (womenswear to follow, ladies), which was full of the staples of good dressing (blazers, light suits, trenches, tees, cardigans), amped up with a dose of the unexpected (a perforated leather jacket in delicious camel, poppy red pin-tucked shorts with bib detailing). There were natural extensions of his neckwear line, including a simple tee punctuated with exuberant ruffled accent, as well as the sort of subtle details you'd expect from an accessories designer: A simple cardigan with unexpected silk charmeuse back, casual knitwear made special with silk faille lapels. For the more adventurous dudes, there's even a little navy blue utilitarian onesie. We expect to see Timo and Alan out in that piece while they make the press and fashion week circuits...don't disappoint us, boys.
