We were pretty distraught this morning when we read the news that Filene's Basement will soon liquidate and shut its doors after more than 100 years in business. A day of digging at Filene's is not unlike a good dose of cardio. We need it. One thing cheers us up though, and that's the inevitable monster sale that comes along with a major chain closing.
