Though the name suggests a classic couture collection, Haus Alkire actually hails from the minds of Julie Haus and Jason Alkire. The label is unique to this group because it's an in-house brand, sold out of the duo's flagship in Soho. The dark drama and slight Eastern bent has turned plenty of heads: The label emerged from an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award and been marked as one of W Hotels' Fashion Next designers. Not bad for the very first season.
