The most magical part of living in a storied American city is being able to strap on your boots and explore, unfolding hidden parts of a well-traversed metropolis. Angeleno and amazingly gorgeous It-Girl Odette Annable (the worthy-of-risking-your-life-for beauty in 'Cloverfield') took Palladium Boots on a tour of her Los Angeles. Instead of the sun, sand and tan for which the city is typically known, Odette took the heritage brand on a lesser-known journey, stopping at the decaying grandeur of the Rosslyn, the artistic heart of the Brewery Arts Complex and Malibu's haunting Frank Lloyd Wright property.
Odette visited each location with the wide-eyed wonder of someone enthralled by the history of Los Angeles—the stars, the architecture, the cultural origins—and as she roamed from West LA to Downtown, the California girl always sported an effortless, perfectly assembled look: a beige sport coat over denim cut-offs; a loose, striped tank tucked into fitted khakis; a hooded vest over an airy lace skirt. Each time she set off on an urban adventure, Odette laced up her Palladium Lites, folded over or with socks peaking out, adding canvas classicism to her summer style. Even though the boots have a thick, die cut EVA heel and striped or patterned Dri-Lex insides, they only weigh an easy 8 ounces—a perfect accessory for unlocking any hidden gems tucked away in your city.
