The Foundation That Makes Your Skin Look Bathed In Light

Certain beauty products — think NARS blush in Orgasm, Clinique's Black Honey lipstick — are so good, they're practically famous. And, while we do love so many of those well-known, well-loved products with a loyal following, we've been wondering why others have been quietly flying under the radar. With that in mind, meet our new beauty series, Cult Classics, in which we'll introduce you to the products you really, truly should know about (and try, like, right now). They're not brand new, but trust us: They've got staying power.
We ask a lot of our foundations: We want a flawless-yet-natural finish, sun protection, and skin-care benefits, to boot. Rarely does anything actually meet all of these qualifications in a significant way — well, until Eve Lom's Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturizer came along.
This luxe product, though technically a tinted moisturizer, gives full coverage. The finish, as the name suggests, is truly radiant, making the wearer look bathed in light at all times. It's the kind of makeup that will get you compliments even on your worst skin day.
And, despite its ultra-liquid-y texture, this stuff stays put. It won't gather in fine lines, nor will it cake. It's easy to apply spot concealer over it, and it's the perfect canvas for a cream blush. It's also great for a no-makeup makeup look since it truly has a "your skin but better" finish.
What's more, since this is first and foremost a moisturizer, the skin-care benefits are plentiful. It not only hydrates and protects the skin, but it also has brightening properties to treat dark spots (without lightening the skin overall). So, it does an incredible job concealing spots and then reduces their appearance over time. Talk about a way to save time on your morning routine.
All in all, this hard-working tinted moisturizer has earned a rightful place in our everyday makeup bag as well as our top shelf. We can't remember what life was like before it, nor do we want to.
Eve Lom Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15, $55, available at SpaceNK.
