It is always a better morning when our AM brew comes from illy, so we were obviously ecstatic to learn that one of our favorites sources of coffee had teamed up with the legendary David Byrne.

Together, the partnership has churned out what is perhaps the coolest set of espresso cups, ever. More adorable than freaky, these alien cups are a part of illy's Art Collection line, which includes cups and saucers for espresso and cappuccino, designed by artists including Byrne, Jeff Koons, Marina Abromovitch, and Julian Schnabel — all decidedly much more interesting than that World's Best Grandson mug you found in the back cupboard at your office.
