Obsessed: Guilt-Free Sunnies That Look Great (And Give Back)

As serious sunglass enthusiasts, we're well versed in all things shady: aviator, wayfarer, polarized, tortoiseshell — you name it, we probably own it (if it fits our face, that is). But, even the most avid collectors eventually tire of the same ol' pairs, and we have to admit having a "Who Wore It Better" contest with everyone in the city is getting a little meh. Which is why we were super psyched to learn about Westward Leaning, a sunglasses newcomer with a to-die-for line of shades. Even better? Each of their oh-so-flattering pairs of sunnies ( all in an updated wayfarer silhouette) is inspired by a different charity or social movement, with $10 from every frame sold going right back to the cause. And, not only are these babies super philanthropic, but they also have all sorts of stand-out accents featured in interesting inserts in the temples — think hints of turquoise, Mexican beading, and even antlers culled from the National Elk Refuge. Number one on our summer wish list? The just-out "Color Revolutions," (pictured) with bright neon reflective lenses— in blue, pink, and orange — that make for an instant trip back to the '80s. Available now at Moda Operandi for $165, we won't feel guilty indulging in a flashback...or three.
