Lit Event! Vendela Vida and Jennifer Egan Talking Novels Tonight

Aspiring novelists: We've got some hot Tuesday night plans for you! Bay Area natives and acclaimed novelists Vendela Vida (aka, Mrs. David Eggers) and Jennifer Egan are heading to the City Arts & Lectures event tonight at Herbst Theatre for a little Q&A session lead by KQED Forum host, Michael Krasny. Settle into your seat and take note as Vida chats about her non-fiction take on young women's rituals in the United States explored in many of her books and articles. Meanwhile, 2011 Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Egan, will discuss her unpredictable style of writing exemplified in her tome, A Visit from the Goon Squad, her article, "The Bipolar Kid," and her book-turned-movie, The Invisible Circus (starring Cameron Diaz). Go out and learn something, people!
