We’d Live In Tory Burch’s Spring ’12 Collection (And Her Super Chic Flagship Store)!

With the seamless opening of her new flagship store in a prime spot on Madison Avenue and a successful first runway show, well-stocked with front-rowers like Brad Goreski, things are only looking up for Tory Burch. And we mean up! We got an exclusive tour of her meticulously decorated Madison Ave location, which boasts five floors of immaculate insanity, decorated in the same pops of colors you can find in her threads. And the new collection, of course, is really where it's at. We're already looking forward to the coral reds, mustard yellows, and muted blues that strutted all casual-cool down the runway. The colors took form in enlarged waves (sometimes sequin!) and fun polka dots, and accented soon to be signature pieces like cropped jackets, knee-length skirts, and easy-to-wear dresses. Throughout the wearable selection of work and play clothes, Burch's decidedly '20s-inspiration was apparent and appreciated—we're happy to slip into something a bit like a modern Boardwalk Empire. And check out her use of oxfords as a key styling piece—they were paired with everything from a striped pantsuit to a silk beaded dress. Come spring, we're expecting these (and the very cool platform oxford peepers) to fly off the shelves of that beautiful store. All the more reason for us to start camping out there now!
