There are plenty of reasons to make a trip across the good ol' U.S.A., from a wholesome family road trip to see America's natural wonders to following your latest music obsession on tour. But, for our recent coast-to-coast journey, it was all in the name of fashion — and a lot of it. We embarked on a shopping-packed event tour dubbed The Shopping Block, hitting up Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets in six cities along the way.
From Boston to L.A., we set up shop at each city's fashion stomping grounds — welcoming shoppers to DIY their own tote bags, experiment with new beauty looks for fall, scoop up one-of-a-kind goods from local up-and-coming designers and boutiques, enter to win a $1,500 shopping spree, and capture all the fun in photo booths. It was like a traveling festival...for the fashion obsessed. (Watch out, Coachella.)
But, what was most striking throughout our cross-country trek was the epic style we encountered at each stop — from the novelty jackets and platforms we spotted in Pennsylvania to the vintage jumpsuits and statement chokers that made us swoon in Florida, the sartorial inspiration was infinite. Now that the tour has come to an end, we're rounding up our favorite fashion moments on the road.
