These Velvet Sneakers Make Us Feel Feelings: They Look Like Crocs, But We Like ‘Em!

We're all feeling a little festively frisky around here — and the sentiment seems to be contagious. Even our favorite puddle-splashing-ready brand Natives, usually reserved for our weekend park strolls, have kicked up their collection with a new, luxe texture. Debuting in the laid-back Miller, Jefferson, and Corrado styles, Native Shoes have gotten a holiday makeover for their newest limited-edition collection. Wrapped in a velvet cover and arriving in primary shades of blue and red (and a no-duh classic black), the practical pairs you once knew are now, well, still practical, but a little prettier, no? And even though the perforations and solid-color schemes are a tad reminiscent of Crocs, the slim design, fuzzy exterior, and bright colors feel more avant garde than gardening clogs. Plus, at a sweet $54.99 per pair, we wouldn't mind gifting ourselves these babies to kick back in for a long winter's lazy day.
