Dropped by Louis Vuitton and lost in fashion limbo, Kanye West made a not-so-subtle plea for asylum to Lanvin's Alber Elbaz at Monday's Accessories Council ACE Awards. Decked out in head to toe Lanvin, West unleashed his inner diva (perhaps the same one that stage bombed Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs), sneaking in a back door and demanding, "take me to Alber." After what was reportedly a long, intense convo with Elbar, Kanye, crowned Stylemaker of the Year, announced to the crowd that he was heartbroken over his split with L-Vizzle. It seems that Kanye is angling for a new partner, so the question is, will Lanvin take the bait? They're pretty busy with H & M, but still...word to the wise, being in a relationship with West isn't exactly discreet. (New York Post)
