Kristen Swenson McCoy and Erin Derge, aka the "gingers" in Ginger Root Design, know how to throw a fun party — and how to find the best of the best among local artisans. Tonight, they're hosting a vintage mixer to showcase their skills in both areas. They've scooped up Mimilah Vintage (you might remember the pop-up shop above Miss Pixie's) to take over the back room of the store, and they'll also debut a new jewelry vendor, Xyla. The takeaway? Expect lots of quirky frocks and colorful baubles, plus plenty of QT with other vintage-loving shoppers. Not bad for a Friday night.
