When Francois Nars launches a new book, it's big news. In celebration of
Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself
, Nars' new beauty manual, the brand threw a big blowout on Tuesday night at Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet Theater. And, to properly fete the launch, Francois Nars' favorite DJ duo, Les Jumeaux, flew in straight from Paris. The easy-on-the-eyes twins, Anthony and Adrien, said they were fans of NARS before they started working with the brand ( Les Jumeaux created the music for NARS's West Village boutique, too). "François Nars is a legend, he's like the king for the makeup industry. And many of our friends in Paris use NARS, so we tried to find songs that represented the lifestyles of our friends that use NARS." Since Les Jumeaux was in a beauty state of mind, we asked them to whip up a mini beauty prep playlist that's perfect for the long weekend ahead.
