Between dealing with Sandy's aftermath, prepping for Halloween, and playing catch-up at work the last few days, you’re likely spent. But, even the biggest storm cloud has a silver lining: In this case, it's that the DC Big Flea is still on for Saturday and Sunday.
Never been? Think endless rows of antique and vintage furniture, secondhand clothing, estate and costume jewelry, old-school toys, and artsy collectibles.
An $8 ticket gets you admission to both days of the largest flea market in the area, with over 300 vendors hailing from as far away as Texas. So, whether you're working on a collection of pretty vases or scouring for Art Deco jewelry (or you just love the thrill of the hunt), add this to your weekend to-do list.
When: Saturday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Dulles Expo & Conference Center, 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly; 703-378-0910.
