Lookbook Crush: This Local Brand Makes Doing Good Look Even Better

If you're not yet acquainted with One Mango Tree, you'll soon be grateful for the introduction. Founded by local lady Halle Butvin in 2007 after several trips to Uganda, the fair-trade organization employs female artisans who produce supremely wearable tops, tanks, dresses, skirts, bags, and jewelry. Working with more than 30 tailors from post-conflict areas in northern Uganda, Butvin's company has provided training, health education, and financial security for its employees and their families. Pretty amazing, we know.
On a recent trip, Butvin brought along local photog Joshua Cogan, who shot the brand's first lookbook in the streets of Kampala. Click through to see snapshots, plus our favorite selections from the brand's online store.
