Olive Garden Is Changing The Way It Serves Breadsticks

There’s something about the phrase "all you can eat" that
seems to magically quadruple the size of our stomachs. I, for one, have
strangely fond memories of running around Souplantation like it was Christmas, or completely overdoing it with an order of unlimited breadsticks as a kid.

As if anyone needed a reason to eat even more breadsticks at Olive Garden, the
Italian chain is adding new breadstick-related menu items. Now, you can order
sandwiches made with the ever-popular doughy, buttery baked goods in a larger size. Oh, and
in case you were concerned, you can absolutely get an order of unlimited
breadsticks alongside your breadstick sandwich. The new combos, including a chicken parm and a meatball sandwich, will hit menus next month.

Why did Olive Garden find it necessary to ply its customers with additional breadsticks? "We’ve been evolving our menu a lot over the past year and we’re really trying to give our guests more ways to enjoy the things that they love. We know our guests love our breadsticks,” Jessica Dinon, a rep for Olive Garden, told Mashable.
