Demi Moore’s $75-Million Penthouse Is Absolutely Breathtaking

A triplex penthouse in the Upper West Side's legendary San Remo building may seem like a New York real estate fable — that is, of course, until you learn that one has been inhabited by Demi Moore for the past 25 years. Who else could own such a majestic castle in the sky? Stars — they're just like us, right?
Moore purchased the Emery Roth-designed home in 1990 with then hubby Bruce Willis; "We looked at everything on the park, Fifth Avenue, Central Park South, and Central Park West, and there was just nothing like it," she told The New York Times of their real estate search. "The location, architecture, and history of the San Remo were on a completely different level."
The 28th-floor apartment, which boasts over 7,000 square feet (and an additional 1,500 of outdoor space), is on such another level that it's hit the market for a whopping $75 million. If it sells for full asking price, it will break the neighborhood record for the most expensive co-op apartment sold. Plus, its new owner's only neighbor will be Bono. Just imagine the dinner parties.
Our only question: When you've had it all (and yes, we consider this palace "it all"), where do you go from here? Because, Carrie Bradshaw said it best: "Beauty is fleeting, but a rent-controlled $75-million apartment overlooking the park is forever..."
