Well, it's happened. Even Stevens has been arrested — again.
Actor Shia LaBeouf was taken into police custody and charged with criminal and disorderly conduct last night after disrupting a performance of Cabaret in New York City. The Broadway revival stars Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming.
According to NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas, the controversy-courting star was escorted out of the Studio 54 theater after becoming belligerent.

"He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally...to the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused,"
Tsourovakas explained. "Police were called and he was detained and arrested."

A report in the New York Post paints a grislier picture. The 28-year-old was allegedly slapping people on their backs and heads while smoking in the theater. When approached by officers, the "incoherent" celeb reportedly turned away and then fell flat on his face. A bystander happened to capture the subsequent arrest on camera. At the Midtown-North police station, LaBeouf is said to have started spitting, and, as a result, officers put a face mask on him. He also reportedly told police he would "fuck [them] up," and called his arresting officer a "fag."
“I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys,” he allegedly said. “I’m going to ruin your career."
This isn't the first time the Nymphomaniac actor has gotten in trouble with the law. LaBeouf's rap sheet includes arrests for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespassing, unlawful smoking, and misdemeanor drunk driving.
Will an apology be forthcoming, or is this just another troubling incident involving the former child star? Any chance we can send him back to Camp Green Lake? (The Guardian)
