In a recent press conference for his upcoming movie Nymphomaniac, LaBeouf stormed out of the room after answering one question — and not very well. He was asked about doing a movie with so many sex scenes. His reply?
"When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.”
Hmm. Well, we can't say he isn't poetic, unstable as he may be right now.
LaBeouf's troubling behavior is unnervingly familiar. Leading up to this outburst has been a slew of bizarre antics and statements, including plagiarism and a declaration that he is retiring from public life. Last month, he got into a bar fight at a London pub. And, on Saturday night, he lunged at a group of men who tried to take a photo of him.
Unruly celebrity behavior often becomes a downward spiral that moves far too quickly. We hope Shia's case isn't a predictable one. (ONTD)
