When Sarah Paulson says that "two heads are better than one," she's not kidding. It turns out the American Horror Story regular will be playing conjoined twins Bette and Dot in next season's Freak Show edition. Sorry to disappoint anyone out there who was pulling for a bearded-lady getup.
Paulson tweeted a pic of her two-headed character look, which clearly involves some CGI mastery and a lot of time in the makeup chair. Jessica Lange is set to play the German owner of a freak show in 1950s Florida, while Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Dennis O'Hare, Frances Conroy, Jamie Brewer, and Michael Chiklis round out the star-studded cast. Who do you think will get to play Lobster Boy?
If their costumes are half as unsettling as Paulson's, we're in for yet another nightmare-inducing season. What else is new?
