Everyone knows that on your birthday, things can feel a little surreal — whether there are tons of shots and a piñata involved, or just lots of loved ones and warm-and-fuzzy feelings. But Kate Upton's 21st birthday takes "surreal" to the next level. According to New York mag, the swimsuit model was in an elevator in a New York City hotel when she recognized a voice belonging to her uncle, Michigan congressman Fred Upton. Kate joined him as he headed to a fundraiser featuring House Speaker John Boehner (which is already a pretty strange way to spend your birthday, if you ask us.) During the event, Boehner took it upon himself to serenade the voluptuous blonde with a particularly painful rendition of "Happy Birthday." Well-intentioned? Most likely. Slightly embarrassing? You better believe it. Don't worry, Kate — at least you can now legally drown your sorrows.
