Pulling off a glittery ensemble can be tricky for most of us — one too many ill-placed sequins and you could wind up likening a disco ball. While that look may be perfect for the nightclubs of Vegas or Atlantic City, it's a little hard to pull off here in regular ole' NYC. Which is why we're giving props to Elizabeth Banks — not only did she turn an otherwise fairly dismal Hunger Games flick into a darn good time, but she can also dress herself to the nines with the perfect mix of sequins, and a little bit of 'tude. Take a cue from Effie Trinket herself (in Elie Saab, Cartier jewelry, and Pierre Hardy shoes at The Cinema Society/Allure-hosted People Like Us premiere), and choose a sparkle in a neutral tone, and use them to accentuate your bod (hello, hourglass figure!). What do you think? Is this look just working for us or are is the shimmer working over time? Weigh in below!
