This Summer Fest Promises Plenty to Eat, See, and Hear

EatSeeHearEmbed
Oh, summer. In addition to the pool parties and BBQs, there's one thing that always tops our to-do list and that's the weekly event that we can always rely on for a good time. This time around, we're especially excited for Eat See Hear.
The summer-long, music/food/movie happening features food trucks galore, outdoor movies, and a line-up of cool bands to jam to while the sun sets — all at different locales around the city each Saturday evening. (Bonus: Some weeks are drive-in movie style, which really gets our nostalgic hearts all aflutter.) Extra points for locations being dog-friendly and venues easily accessible via bike or car. The weekly event kicked off earlier this month, but this weekend, they're screening The Princess Bride — possibly the most quotable movie ever! — in Santa Monica. Music will be provided by the Indie rock group Derde Verde and nosh supplied by Schmuck Truck, MOEggrolls, India Jones, and our fave ice cream sammie VIPs, Coolhaus. Click here to buy $10 tickets in advance, or pay $12 at the door. An evening of fun for the price of a couple of Starbucks iced coffees? Count us in! Check the Eat See Hear website for full event details each week.
