Our new blue crush isn't exactly a Kelly Slater lookalike, but we're just as smitten. French Bulldog Tillman, the skating, snowboarding VID (Very Important Dog), has now added surfing to his CV (Canine Vitae) — and we're pretty much ready to plot a dognap! With his chums Sully and Rosy, this proficient pooch beat out 100 other pups to surf serious swell on the Natural Balance Pet Foods float at the Rose Bowl Parade yesterday.
If you missed this "bitchin'" display, the dogs and their boards were transported to the "shore" inside a vintage surf wagon (they're called woodies in case you aren't down with the lingo!), and then hit the water, where a wave machine generated two feet of surf for them to hang ten down Colorado Boulevard. Check out this video that will surely get your tail-wagging to beat those back-to-work blues!
