The Surf-Spray DIY We've Been Waiting For

Salt sprays are the kind of product that often makes us wonder, Wait, could I just make this at home? The answer, of course, is yes. Sometimes, though, we just don't have the motivation to go through the process of procuring the ingredients and combining them in the perfect ratio. Life is hard enough.
But, this DIY from ModCloth about how to create the perfect surf-texture spray is having us sing a different tune. Using things we already have lying around, like coconut oil and hair gel, the process couldn't be more simple.
Accompanying the DIY are before-and-after photos of its results, and that's really what sealed the deal for us. We want that beachy texture, ASAP. Head on over to ModCloth to read the tutorial, and let us know if you're going to be DIYing rather than buying your next surf spray (ModCloth).
