3 Local Designers Team Up For A Massive Summer Sale

Now that the city has officially turned the heat way up, our minds are slowly drifting to one glorious and much anticipated event — our next vacation. We know how active your Google calendar will be these next few months, which is why we want to give you every opportunity to carry a little piece of Chicago with you no matter where you are. Local jewelry designer Kristen Amato has appealed to our Chicago pride and created an entire necklace line aptly named after our favorite city streets. Meaning, those 24 inches of triple strand turquoise beads illuminating your neck are actually called The Clark and it might just be the most delicious by-product of the diagonal street since Molly’s Cupcakes. This Wednesday you can check out Kristen’s necklaces and her entire K. Amato collection, featuring an assortment of colorful gems, enchanting filigree drops, and hammered geometric shapes, at the Diversey Designer Series open house. The series combines Kristen’s unique stone stylings with two other Chicago designer favorites – Zamrie and Miriam Cecilia – for an afternoon of classic elegance and special discounts that will make your travel bag very happy.
When: Wednesday, June 20, from 12 to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 18, from 12 to 7 p.m.
Where: Diversey Designer Series, 1229 West Diversey Parkway (at Lincoln Avenue); 312-882-1366
